For too long we have let this Olde English Bulldogge history slip past us. We get so caught up in the hustle and bustle that we miss so many opportunities to capture these magnificent beasts. Our programs are so near and dear to us and we tend to put ourselves and our dogs before the breed. I love my dogs, I love this community but mostly I love the Olde English Bulldogge. I love the chase, the families matched with puppies, and the partnerships we've nurtured. 

The Olde English Bulldogge Community is WORLDWIDE. It's a society I've been a part of and loved for far too long to not be in love with it. Some of you guys have been around just as long as us, even longer. Our roots are deep and for the love of the BULLDOGGE, start bringing your dogs out. 

Today when I clicked on this link, and a collage of well-groomed, well-trained, well-dressed handlers and their Dogges! I'm impressed, I'm proud. We are the few that put ourselves out there time and time again, we step on a stage to be evaluated by a judge and our peers and all the naysayers too. I've done and said some ugly things and ugly things have been done and said about us. That's the nature of the beast, the nature of competition. But it's not always that way and doesn't have to be. I believe we can understand each other better, the standard better, and value the breed before popularity, before notoriety, and "LIKES".

OEB's impressed at 2021 ABKC NATIONALS.. 

The Last Time Nationals was in Dallas was in 2013! It's not very often we don't have to travel the country to go to Nationals. And let me tell ya, Nationals is like the SUPERBOWL!!! Sure there are shows every weekend all over the United States, sometimes two to three shows in a weekend. But on DECEMBER 4th, 2021 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Center we will be contending at the BULLY SUPERBOWL.. 

We don't show up to every show, but on this day WE WILL SHOW OUT!!

We are ecstatic about the JUDGE PICKED to judge "Multi-Breeds" this year.

Mr. Roberto Giannuli of dell'Antiqua Apulia Cane Corsos of Italy. He has over 26yrs of experience of numerous breeds within the FCI (international canine registry) and much more. 

The American Bully judge is exciting as well. Senior Judge William Ogren of Spain! Very reputable and respectful. For "BEST IN SHOW" one dog from each breed in the ring and both judges will decide who wins the entire show! We sure would love to be the ones representing the Olde English Bulldogge. 

Yes, winning Nationals is a beautiful experience, but our true passion is with the Olde English Bulldogge Breed. This breed has truly been run through the wringer, there is no one entity or organization with this breed's best interest at heart. That leaves many of us OEB Enthusiasts at war. What is right or wrong and so on. It will be refreshing to have new eyes on this breed and whomever he chooses, so be it. Whoever wins that day, we will congratulate them, shake their hands and come back next year. 

But one of the sweetest and maybe even bittersweetest things about it is.... we may be relocating......... This could be the last show in TEXAS we attend for some time. So PRETTY PLEASE if you got a baby from us, please come see us off and see us in action. Win or Lose we will not let you down, we are doing all the preparations possible. And incase you're not sure how passionate we are about what we do, you will on December 4th.

2021 ABKC NATIONALS in DALLAS on Dec 4th

Evolving to where I am now, and I say " I " and not "we" because the dogs exhibited here in this picture are not exactly my husband's preference. He is HUGE on type, and me too in some instances. Coming from rescuing dogs and eventually breeding my own, DOG BREEDS have always been everything to me. I used to get accused of checking out other guys when I'd break my neck to see a passerby. The hilarious thing about it is you can always bet those passersbys WERE A DOG. I was obsessed with everything from their ears, feet, noses, BREEDS. Their movement and personality. Just literally everything TYPE. But I had no idea what I was doing then. I had no idea I had an eye for a dog, that I could see things in mutts that screamed the breed book descriptions I used to dwell on for hours and hours working at the cash register at PETCO. I had no idea that one day I'd be the light-hearted and self-proclaimed Best Puppy Picker haha.. I was just obsessed. PERIOT.

As a little girl, I was obsessed with the fighting Pitbulls my real parent housed with us as children. My mom has stories of how she'd just always save me as I was escaping into dog pens or would yank me out of their dog bowls before I was lunch. I don't remember that, but in my head or heart, I see two gamey blue pittys, male and female.. Thank God we escaped that situation unscathed, physically anyway, and onto greener pastures.. The GOLDEN RETRIEVER. You know these dogs are my freakin heart. I went to an AKC show some time ago with my friend Andi Jalensky and I could hardly watch the Goldens through my tears. They're so smart, and if you can afford the time to clean up all that hair flying in the air and keep them intellectually engaged, they ARE TRULY THE REAL NANNY. I had to take mine everywhere I went. The hilarious thing was she was the runt, I think the check for her was $300! I kept waiting for her to "POP" haha. I just always wanted my dogs to look BadAss! That never happened, we fixed her and she was a fatty lol. I've got a whole lotta opinions on that too, but that's for another day.

What exactly is a good Olde English Bulldogge. Is this dog even good enough to show? Breed? Now, this is where I was caught up, when I first got my Oldie, Genna Queen of Hearts, I got her off Craigslist. She was $700! I got my second from what I thought was the perfect Oldie, the Mom looked like a Pitbull / American Bulldog cross and the dad looked like a big English Bulldog. Viola, but no, not really. He was $1800, got him with my tax money. My third was a gorgeous blue boy, he was $3000 in a co-ownership where I might as well be giving away my firstborn son Adrian. But I was too new and/or too dumb to know it..

And I say all that to say..... I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TF AN OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGE was Supposed To Look Like! Breeders from all over the world would harp on Genna (the $700 one lol), but I think that truly was because she was A) Atheltic and I posted the shit out of her lol. I was new to FB and I was in a super emotionally abusive relationship TBH.. and this way I could talk to other people and not necessarily be "CHEATING" like with all the doctors at work, hahaha, another story... but I had a VOICE, finally and AGAIN.. From being a great student, a decent athlete when applicable and just friends with everyone, I again HAVE COMMODORE and with the Very Thing, I loved the Most... DOGGES..

But that didn't make things any less confusing. WTF is an Olde English Bulldog, Bulldogge? And how do I pronounce it? I will make it work even if I have to work 20hrs a day and make A's in Advanced Placement Biology Courses, A&Pnand Microbiologys, cuz oh yea, I was Supposed to be a VET (miss you, Grandma).

So here comes 

, who had thankfully just found out I wasn't a lesbian after all. Guess I didn't through myself at him like he was used to .. ((Oh yea sometime before that, huge disastrous break up from the other guy)). Two years single and finding myself and diving deeper into the OEB Community..., Chris pops up on my radar. Back then there were a few Oldie Voices that literally controlled everyone scared on FB. I was friends with them, or so I thought. They did however like Chris too,.. He was mysterious, he never posted ANYTHING PERSONAL on FB, but he'd pop out with pictures of THE BADDEST LIL PUPPIES!! I was like God Damn Gameboy, you're sure off-target (Gameboy was my second purchase, my besty lol). Hey but I still had the ATHLETIC TYPE lmfao. Funny how we newbies hang on to whatever we acquire for some damn time, stubborn fukers us newbies are.

Apparently, and I swear I'm gonna go back the maybe 10yrs now, someday, but apparently, I messaged Chris.. "What's Your Secret", . I HAVE to insert a laughing emoji there because Confidence is Something I never lacked, and almost certainly, it was a SARCASTIC but maybe prompting question. And yes, during this two-year sabbatical, but phone was BLOWING UP.. So when and whatever he responded, I met with a "Wow, So Cool." and that was that...

Okay fastforward to the part where I'm not a lesbian after all, I get a couple phone calls from him, learn that he is single and ready to mingle. And of course, I'm down for the big man on campus always. Us Leos roll like that. I'd put up with the babydaddy bs too long and I deserved to DIVE IN.. We fell in LOVE and we're married in a couple months..

But ooohhhh no, I was not all lollipops and puppy luv, he trashed ALL MY DOGS.. He literally made me send back all the fugly dogs to their breeders, and pet home the rest. I got to keep Gameboy, my besty, and maybe a bitch or two who led me RIGHT HERE, with my husband's expertise and infatuation for TYPE, Right Where I am currently with my dog. And I could not live without any of my children, my mom, my sister and all my family, I damn sure don't want to spend a moment without my HUSBAND. Except when he goes on those judging assignments, I do enjoy the whole bed to myself too

Grand Champion Saints & Sinner's Oedipus Rex.. We put iBulldogges on everything now but before I was Saints & Sinners Bulldogges and he is/was Bulky Built! So technically Rex and many of his predecessors are Saints and Sinners. I just wanted to make a lil graphic of how all the tears and trials have led me to here, to Rex and the BITCHES surrounding him. I do love him, I do want to add and adjust some things about him, but I finally know what a Great Representation of the Olde English Bulldogge looks like. Special thanks to co-owner

1) Make sure you've chosen a breed you really like.

2) Study long and hard before you even think about investing in foundation stock.

3) Find the best breed mentor you can locate.

4) Clearly understand the elements that constitute breed type in your breed.

5) Find out which lines have historically produced the best dogs.

6) Buy the best foundation bitch you can possibly afford.

7) If possible, concentrate the bloodlines of the breed's top-producing bitch lines in your pedigrees.

8 ) Make no breeding other than to the right male.

9) Breed to the best available sons of your breed's best bitches.

10) BUY THE BEST FOUNDATION BITCH YOU CAN AFFORD

Want to be a Breeder, We All Started Somewhere

We imported a monster produced by Mikel Katuin, owned by Carlo Bruni. I was always obsessed with SCARFACE and would imagine that if I could figure out how to come up with $50k, maybe Bullforce would sell him to me. Little did I know $50k is a baby bag! I mean I had to take out a loan just to buy my first few dogs ☺️ so we’re offered some Scarface but our friend Tony Clay Jr. had just imported the only Scarface blood in the US, and damn Chris didn’t want to take away that shine. Then we got offered the monster himself! BULLFORCE GODZILLAH 🦖🦖S/O to Carlo Bruni for the role you played in our destiny ✨ Stand back, when he came out of the crate he was unlike any dog I had ever seen! And he played HARD! He’d just, he’d love bite, he just wanted to greet us and we fell in love with him, with what he could bring to the table generically and his hard-loving attitude. No fear, all POISE & POWER.  Yes, he was a super freak, but look at what he could do, in ONE GENERATION.. he made NEAR perfection! That’s the mastery of Mikel & Chris, some of the very small league of best and most promising OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGE breeders in the WORLD 🌎🌍🌏 #iBulldogges OEDIPUS REX 💞🦖📸🏆

What is an Olde English Bulldogge

I know it's easy to fall in love with a look, a quirky personality trait, or fur type. For me, I was quite enamored with the Olde English Sheepdog. There was one following the kids in the neighborhood in every child's book. How happy, slobbery, and puffy they are. And now, I'm quite in love with the Afghan Hound. Their sleek long and luxurious coat just flowing in the wind. But let's get real, I mean I hardly brush my hair, yes I wash, but brushing, it's for the birds. I can't even keep my daughter Aurora's hair from tangling. Who am I to think I'd EVER been able to keep up with an ACTUAL coated breed! One where grooming partakes numerous hours daily or even weekly! Nope, I'm not your girl. I don't spend hours in front of the mirror and can probably count the number of times I've curled my own hair. So when you're googling 'Breeds' and there are 5 stars checked off next to grooming, and you've got hours and end to fill, and yes although brushing and blowing through the mane of a well-behaved creature sounds therapeutic, not doing it can be quite daunting. Think to have to shave such a magnificent coat and keep him shaved, Ewww. It'll dismantle the lore of the breed you fell in love with, and chances are once he's shaved, it's ruined. The coat will never be the same.

Now let's talk Temperament real quick. Now, this is a big one but just for a little foreshadowing here, you can not love the wrong attitude out of the dog. I say wrong because it just might not be right for you, your home, and your family. It might be perfect for someone else. The magnificent Cane Corso, almost jet black but for the near-invisible brindling. How tall dark and handsome right, right! But you can't "No Sir" a very powerful animal into submission, it's an aura he'll submit to, the Alpha if you will. And no matter how powerful we may feel, the stare-down of a giant breed is quite intimidating. And once you've broken that stare down, you've lost. The Corso is the boss. Or let's say The Chow Chow, in recent years I danced with the idea of having a small breeding program of them here. Remember my obsession with fur. After numerous respected breeders discouraged me from raising them along with children and finally our customer coming to buy his first dog since childhood from fear of his own pet Chow Chow that attacked him. That was it, I can't raise them to be the happy-go-lucky goofballs that Olde English Bulldogges are with their families, with my family.

Let's talk Activity Level. This one's huge too. Now sure, they vary with OEB's. Your breeder should be able to say, 'Oh yes, you want to hike in the Colorado mountains, this is the one for you.' Or ' You want a couch potato, take this one.' For the most part, Olde English wants to do, or try to do whatever you're doing. If you're fishing or walking or reading a book. They'd just love to be right there with ya. They're companions. But let's say you fell in love with The Dalmation or The Jack Russel Terrier. Most dogs were bred for generations, for centuries to perform a certain job or task. The best bred to the bred. The best hunters to the best hunters. The herders to herders. The mousers to mousers. And what do mousers do? They dig. And bark. Herders like the Australian Shepard expend a tremendous amount of energy corralling livestock. They are going to have that energy Every Single Day. Even when you want to sleep in on a Sunday. All that energy and barking and destructive behavior no doubt when that energy isn't put to work will never make him a bad dog. A dog can not be bad for doing what it was bred to do. Maybe it was a bad choice. A choice that your friends and neighbors may not love, no matter how much you love him. And taking that bad dog to train to fix what he was bred for centuries to do, is only unfair to him. Hopefully, your trainer will discuss that with you, or worse, just take your money, or even worse, scare him into submission. Anyway, if 5 stars are checked new to Activity Level when googling your breed, take that very seriously.

Trainability, sure, some dogs are the sharpest tools in the shed. Some dogs, especially smaller breeds just never fully potty train. Smarts can be bred into and out of a dog. Seasoned breeders know the difference. Seasoned breeders just don't tolerate dumb in their program. Those guys will be adopted out to pet homes. You can't fix stupid, now I didn't say that but its a saying. It's kinda true. But more than that some dogs do not just aim to please like their cousin The Golden Retriever. She is so intelligent she can be trained with a glance, with a kiss. The Olde English Bulldogge is neither of these for the most part. They're gonna need some consistency, some routine, some clear lines. If you tell them no, but let them jump on the couch anyway, whelp, you're gonna be fighting for couch space. If you want them to go on a walk but they don't want to, that's gonna take some coaxing. Treats are amazing for that. All you've got to do is make it fun. They'll know you're upset if you are but if you talk to them in your super cute super playful voice, they're fools for happiness.

Health, health is everything and often taken for granted. Unless you have an unhealthy dog, you have no idea just how bad things can get. Medical expenses or just plain suffering of the animal. Some breeds are more prone to bad hips or congestive heart failure. The Bernese Mountain Dog is prone to Von Willebrand Disease, a hereditary blood clotting disorder. But that doesn't mean these beautiful animals don't have their place in this world. There are those who dedicate their lives to preserving them, to irradicating the disease but not to sacrifice type (or the look and temperament). Simply pulling all the carriers of the disease from breeding programs would be a great disservice to the breed. You'd be sacrificing so much more than the chance a puppy is affected by the disorder. Genetics is a whole nother chapter.

All in all, do your homework, and then do it again. Beyond a google search, and way beyond asking the well-to-do Facebook Group patrons their opinions, reach out to an established breeder. One who isn't trying to sell you but is truly just in love with their breed. They'll be honest. They'll let you know if you're a right fit for the breed, you have to be honest to them too. Tell them how much you want to exercise with the breed, how much you want to pay the groomers every month, or even the vet bills. And sure no dog is perfect, but being educated before diving in will be very helpful to you, your breeder, and especially your new mongrel.

Choosing the Right Breed

New Champion THUG ROSE showed for her FIRST TIME in the Champion Class. In my heart I thought she would win Nationals, she or an Ersoy Champion female. International Judge Roberto Giannuli from Italy was judging our breed. I felt he'd like a cleaner more refined Olde English Bulldogge. And the two Champion females I thought he'd pick, he did look over and ultimately picked THUG ROSE..

The sweetest thing to me is Little Miss Thug is BRED!! We wholeheartedly feel that DOG SHOWS are to evaluate breeding stock. We wanted to bring out another Champion girl but she was about 10wks off of puppies and not quite ready. Thug lives in a Guardian Home and had just come in heat. We bred her and Nationals was literally two weeks away!. I wish more people would bring out their bitches bred or fresh off pups. I know a few of us wanted to this time, but not at Nationals. This is the BIG ONE!

And equally as special for me, Thug is belly sister to 2019 National Winner and Grand Champion Oedipus Rex. Two Sibling National Winners.. and I just happen to love them.

Olde English Bulldogge Society, World, Community, Club or what have you.... this is long overdue.


No, those names are not set in stone, we still need to come up with a name. Let's brainstorm on that later. We're not LVB, we're the other guys, the Olde English Bulldoggers. Often labeled dramatic, or disregarded because we can't get our shit together as a whole. Do you guys realized how YOUNG our breed is. Olde and all, lol. OEB's were established relatively recently. We're not hundreds of years old, we are a RECREATION.. The guys who will never conquer while divided, the guys who can just ever get along. Not anymore. We've wanted to do this for so long, us and numerous TRUEBLOODS out there. We have nothing but passion and time, Alas..


David Levitt started with a vision, not to pump himself. Dave Wilson started the ABKC, not to promote his kennel Ravors' Edge, but to create a home for a displaced community.
This is our vision, The OEBS (Olde English Bulldogge Society ((name pending)), to establish OWNERSHIP for all of us BULLDOGGERS. For acknowledgment and support for each other and our visions and goals. For a solid foundation and legs to stand on.


We're passionate, we CARE. The ones who have lasted the test of time have their hearts in it, and there are newer ones alike. In this breed, it's easy to feel alone, but it doesn't have to be this way. For over a decade there have been many instances where we've seen wrongs that were never righted, people were afraid to speak out. Bullies have overrun this community for so long. Why was Rick Ross the Biggest Boss, because he said so, but not all those with the biggest mouths or the most time to blow up Facebook, have the best intentions or the breed at heart. Everyone will have their own spotlight, no favorites. No rewarding bad behavior, No Bullys or Crybabies.
I was told I'm gonna start a revolution, well hell, it wouldn't be the first time. I wish to leave all drama in the past, if I have you blocked please call me (469) 585-0903. We can talk about and handle it like grownups. I don't want to give oxgyen to negativity, but I'd love to clear the air.
This has been an idea amongst many for some time, but instead of having the kinks all ironed out, I thought it's be a beautiful thing for us to do together.
TO DOs....

NUMBER 1: We need a NAME.. something cool yet professional! Who will we be as a community?


NUMBER 2: CLASSES.. We have fought this tooth and nail but it's the only way our community comes together. Like the American Bully, like the American Bulldog, Olde English Bulldogges need CLASSES.. names of classes, their descriptions etc.. (tall, short, working, pocket), super unofficial names but just giving you an idea.


NUMBER 3: COMMUNITY.. This is an all registry inclusive and all class inclusive (see above) and COUNTRIES inclusive organization. It's amazing that so many registries register OEBS and allow them to exhibit in the show. Please share with everyone who owns and breeds and owns Olde English Bulldogges, kennel pages, and IG, TIKTOK, REDDIT, TWITTER, and any and all platforms possible. We're stronger in numbers. Once this gets rolling you can also share with all your clients, it will be a great way for them to stay updated on the breed, your own breeding plans, and maybe even get the show bug.


NUMBER 4: OWN OUR BREED.. It is time to grab the reigns! Our programs can no longer be dictated by our buyers, by judges, by handlers, or by whoever is seeking a platform on social media. When we start taking ourselves seriously, success will follow. Once we feel confident in our dogs, confident in our standard, we will be able to stand up for ourselves and KNOW we will have support. We will create literature, videos, and diagrams demonstrating our breed! Oh, yea we need artists too!


NUMBER 5: STANDARD REVISIONS.. We currently have a standard that was originally written for the LVB. This standard has more DISQUALIFICATIONS than any other composite breed, mind you the Shorty Bull has no Disqualifications. I'm not saying let's let the breed go all to hell, I'm saying let's boggle down, let's get specific. Let's add a BODY PARAGRAPH like every other breed standard in history. And never through the baby out with the bat
Open to suggestions, and before criticism let's talk. No need to further divide.


NUMBER 6: We need mentors amongst each other, we need seminars, we need LITERATURE, we need to educate the judges evaluating OUR BREEDING STOCK!


NUMBER 7: PEER EVALUATION, Keep Bullying at Bay, Keep those from reaching too far outside of the standard (exotic bulldogs), Inclusivity, Check Egos at the Door, Conflict Resolution, Animal Husbandry, and we can even promote each other!


NUMBER 8: Promotion.. The Olde English Bulldogge has arrived. We went to a new feed store to buy my first gun yesterday, and the guys behind the counter HAVE OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGES! How exciting. Once people have heard of the breed and start searching online it can get really confusing. Here we can organize thoughts and ideas. We can promote our own stock and programs. We must also create our own websites, yesterday's FB/IG crash gave us a little taste. We will also be able to promote merchandise here that are OEB and dog-related, t-shirts, show products.. services.. etc.


NUMBER 9: DOG SHOWS.. One of my most favorite. Believe it or not, it does not matter if iBulldogges wins, and anyone who personally knows us knows that. We want the breed to win, we want the contenders hungry and to fight fairly! We want the registries to be excited about the fire we bring to the table. We want OEBs exhibited on huge public platforms and we want the WORLD to see the Best of our Best and in all countries too. We want each state represented by their bests, and each county too! We would love for the breed to travel worldwide to stack up to other Dogges just like the American Bully, AKC, and FCI dogs do. We want to keep track of each judge/ registry's picks and will need someone meticulous enough to do it. Documentation equates to Accountability. We also want to promote all Bully Breed Registries and Shows Worldwide, as long as they respect the OEB Mission...

NUMBER 10: Let's Have Fun.. Let's have LIVE interactives, Meet & Greets, Meet the Breeders, Tales from the Whelping Box, and Online Stackoffs. We can organize OEB symposiums aka Bulldogge Parties.. We can teach each other how to... pretty much anything, we can have raffles, giveaways, we can have gift exchanges. We can HAVE FUN and FRIENDSHIP. 


We don't have to love each other's bulldogs, but we can respect the love of the breed. Truebloods, it is time to turn our frustrations into focus. If we're not part of the solution, we're part of the problem!
